Our History
Pathways began as a community outreach program in 1985, developed by the Lakewood Regional Medical Center. In 1987, we started operating as a separate non-profit volunteer organization, providing hospice care to the terminally ill and bereavement to their families. Our impact expanded in 1997 through the support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to include interfaith volunteer caregiving for the elderly and chronically ill.
Over 35 years of experience later, we continue to provide ever-increasing irreplaceable services in over a dozen surrounding communities.
